Mastering FamilySearch.org
Online Class
When I think back to why I created my Mastering FamilySearch.org online class, it was an evolution really. I'd been teaching genealogy classes to a local group and seeing people either struggling to use FamilySearch.org or not using it at all! I felt an intense pull to help family researchers learn more about this invaluable resource that is FREE to use with NO yearly subscription.
And so, little by little, I began creating engaging and “hands-on” lessons to explain step-by-step how to use FamilySearch.org and simplify the user experience.
When I finally launched my class, emails started pouring in with such positive and heartwarming messages. People were finally able to:
Find ancestors they have been unable to find for years
Up their search strategy game
Break genealogy brick walls
Successfully search and locate “hidden” historical records
